Fresh water angels require at least 10 gallons per fish, with a minimum tank height of 16", 18" is better. I keep mine anywhere from 80F to 85F, angels can handle temps into the 90's as long as you have plenty of aeration. Make sure any tank mates can handle this higher temp.
Get a good quality flake food, frozen brine shrimp, & frozen bloodworms. Feed the flake daily, brine shrimp every couple of days, and bloodworms once a week. Too much bloodworms can lead to constipation & bloat.
In a normally stocked tank, change 25% of the water weekly. Use a good water conditioner, Prime is one of the best out there. I change 50% weekly, but I'm dealing with a breeding setup, 500 or so angels between breeders & growing stock.

I'm assuming this is a freshwater angelfish. It will need a tank heater to maintain a temperature of about 76 degrees. Some sort of filtration system and food. Angels will eat flake food but also like a little variety in their diet, try tubifex worms or brine shrimp on occasion. Check with your fish store about other fish that will be compatible with your angel. Angels are a south American Chiclid species and can be territorial but they aren't as aggressive as some other members of the family.

It's always a good idea to research any animal, even a fish you intend to buy.
Angelfish need a heated tank (around 78 degrees). You need to add a water conditioner to the water to take out the chlorine, or it can kill your fish.
They need enough room. General rule is each inch of fish needs one gallon of water. Keep in mind most angelfish will get around 5 inches.
You need to change 25% of the water once a month with a gravel vacuum. (Easy to use and cheap) and change the filter once a month as well.
And always add water conditioner to remove the chlorine.

I think that most angel fish are salt water fish, and they might need a special kind of exotic fish food. If you clean out the tank, then remember to leave a third of the old water in it so that the bacteria that the fish need can regrow. ^-^

much good advice already posted here
ALSO - keep them away from "fin-nippers" and other aggressive fish. Not every fish is suited to live with an Angel Fish.
