If these victims wives do not deserve the tolerance, respect and decency of all Americans who does? And how can these flag-wavers justify thier idol (Ann Coulter) making such statements?

Liberals??? This woman is a Conservative and she did write these things, clearly...
Shouldn't Americans of all political beliefs reject this on principle? I mean, 9-11 was a tragedy, how can you rag on these people's loss to sell a book? That is sick.

People with brains don't read Ann Coulter, you should use YOUR brain and think about this. Imagine your loved one being taken from you, then some skank like Coulter writing that slop to sell her toilet scum book. Imagine it. If you can you blockhead.

I think that Ann Coulter is ignorant. Clearly anyone that had the intelligence of an ape (or any humility or empathy for that matter) would be able to see through this woman's self-serving rhetoric.

Firstly who is Ann Coulter and secondly what an apalling thing to say!!
How can anyone enjoy the death of their husbands??
I am not sure what context that was said in, but I think that woman needs bringing down a peg or two!!
To lose anyone under any circumstances is awful, but to say that about the partners of the 9/11 is totally unforgiveable.
As far as I am concerned, the victims who died, thier partners and the survivors of such an awful crime deserve a hell of a lot of respect, commendation and understanding.
It doesn't bare thinking about to have been in that situation. To have those words spoken by anyone is disrepectful to the dead and the survivors.

Did you read the entire book in which this quote appeared? "I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much," Coulter writes in her new book. Regrettably, a great sound byte for the liberal media to pounce on.
But read more and use your brain.
She isn't literally saying that all 9-11 widows enjoyed their husbands' deaths. She's making a point about four women who have become millionaires as a result of compensation settlements and are "reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis."
You can disagree with her, if you believe that these women deserve as much money and celebrity as possible due to their husband's deaths. Or, you can believe that some people have the tendency to exploit tragedy for their own benefit, and that doing so actually diminishes the grief of our entire nation.
I tend to believe the latter.
You decide for yourself, what you want to believe. But know this -- in the U.S., Ann Coulter absolutely has a right to say what she believes.

Everyone finds themselves dealing with a death of a spouse or family member at some time in their life. That is life. The problem that I have is that liberals are the same people who are willing to "rehabilitate" criminals responsible for the murder of innocent are willing to blame the tragedy that occurred on 9-11 on Bush. That was the whole premise of Ann's supposed attack on these women. They had numerous times blamed Bush for the lose of their spouses. Ann's point was that this puts Bush/Republicans in a place that they can't respond. Examine being confronted by these women blaming you for the death of the husbands. I'm sure these women thought they were doing to right thing, but the liberals behind it knew all along what the plan was.

I think she's right. Being a 9/11 widow and speaking about your loss and even speaking against what you feel led to 9/11 is fine because it directly relates to your loss. Once they started doing political campaign commercials and speaking out about other topics as though they had a specific qualification for doing so made it that they were using their husband's deaths to promote their own agenda. That's not cool.
By the way, Ann Coulter's point was that liberals use these types of people because you're not "allowed" to say negative things about them. She's right. She said a negative thing about them that's true and look what's happened to her.
Liberals love this. They use people like Cindy Sheehan this way as well. Poor Cindy was once the darling of the liberals and now that she's served her purpose where is she now?

While I am very neutral when it comes to politics, I do have to kind of defend her on this as most people only heard about it second hand and took it the wrong way, as your question is stated.
She is not saying that 9-11 widows enjoyed their husbands deaths, what she is saying is that the widows of 9-11 formed a political group and are using the fact that their husbands died to advance their own agenda, and enjoying the fact that if anybody questions their agenda they will seem like a bad guy because who questions a bunch of widows? I mean they lost their husbands in a horrific tragedy, how can you question them?
personally I think she is right in her thinking but she is probably wrong in the way she went about trying to get her point across as she seems callous, which plays right in to the way liberals like to stereotype conservatives.

I'm not familiar with Coulter's work, but it's probably in the context of corruption. Of course, there are those who should get our deepest sympathies for their loss, but there are those that are going to try to abuse the system.
It's great that money was raised for Katrina victims, but take a look at what happened. People filed for 9 debit cards in a fraudulent manner and then used the money to get football tickets and take vacations. In any given system, there's going to be not-so-great people.

Who's Ann Coulter? If anybody would say something that ridiculous, I'm sure they are insane or trying to shock people so that they can get their face on TV and some money. She must be a neo-con, they are the only ones retarded enough to say something that stupid.

Ann Coulter has exceeded her usefulness. While she may have, at one time, had a finger on the pulse of the neo-conservative movement, and fed them what made them happy, she has moved on to the category of people who like to hear themselves speak and believe that their every opinion is a pearl of wisdom.
She has forgotten that pearls are made when oysters eat dirt.
