WOW

Yes, you need to leave. And get a restraining order. I know it will be hard to move on with two kids, but trust me, after being in a realationship similiar to yours, it will be the best for you. And remember the kids.

If he is starting to become abusive.. you need to get out now. I know it is hard to leave him but take help where you can get it. Get the cops involved. If you know that he has a job off the books.. you can get the IRS involved. He will have to pay child support and probably alimony. Use that money to help you get your life together. Go to school and get some sort of vocational degree-- medical assistant something like that. Stay at your mom's until then. For right now, its important to get out of the situation it sounds like it will only get worse.... as far as your friend goes... be careful if you want to hang out with him go ahead, but don't have sex. If you get a divorce you need to prove that you were more loyal than your husband was. Don't give the judge cause to award the children to him.

I'm only a kid but I think that the best thing to do right now is to pray. The Lord will answer you and will save you from this nightmare. He has a plan for you along with anyone else. Other than that I don't know what else you could do but if your husband is abusing you, you need to report it to the police immediately.

get out he is trying to use a scare tactic with you dont let him see that it is working. if he quits his job to skirt not paying child support he can go to jail for failure to maintain support. if your friend isnt afraid of him then let him handle that situation but when you do this make sure you and your husband are not together...

Find a women's shelter and express your concerns - you don't have to stay there, but they can give you a game plan.
