I have read more than I can count. I am an avid reader and read anywhere from 2 to 5 books a week. I have many favorite authors but not one specific favorite book.

In addition to reading, I also always have an audio book playing in my car. Right now, I am reading Vanish by Tess Gerritsen and listening to The Rapture by LaHaye and Jenkins.

Way too many to count. I've read 1-4 books a week since I've been around 6 y/o. And it's too hard to pick just one favorite.

Literature: Still Life w/ Woodpecker by Tom Robbins
Sci-fi: 1984 by George Orwell
Fantasy: all of the Shannara series by Terry Brooks
Romance: Cry No More and Son of the Morning by Linda Howard
Biography: No One Here Gets Out Alive - Jim Morrison biography
Horror: this is my favorite genre and I love anything I can get my hands on.

I have read too many books to count, but I can read up to 4 or 5 books at any one time. A Town Like Alice by Neville Shute is one of my favourites. It is a very easy read, kind of like a war story, love story and bush story all rolled into one. The book is kind of broken into parts, the first part based on the war with Japanese soldiers guarding a group of women and children and are all ordered to walk thousands of miles in Malaysia. The second part of the book is after the war, in rural Queensland and life in a small town and the hard work in running an outback station. It doesn't delve too much into the atrocities of war, but it is an extremely enjoyable read and I recommend it to anyone.

I love reading and don't know how many books I've read - too many to count. Can't choose just one favorite either, I have many. Here is a short list: The Bible (KJV) & Book of Mormon, Tuesday's with Morrie, All the Foxfire books, The Delany Sisters -Everday Book of Wisdom, Standing for Something, Trail of Tears - the Rise and Fall of the Cherokee Nation. . .

No way I can give a number. I lost count somewhere around age six. When I was a teenager, my favorite was The Seventh Princess. It's great for young girls. The protagonist is not a weakling waiting for a strong prince, she actually helps take down the evil characters!Read it three times.
Now my favorites are Treasure Island and Frankenstein. I've read them four and three times, respectively. Kidnapped, also by Robert Louis Stevenson, is good. Arthur C. Clark's The Fountains of Paradise is good for sci-fi.
Number the Stars by Lois Lowry and The Diary of Anne Frank are must-reads.

I used to keep the books I've read, but if I still did that I would need many, many houses to store them in.

The first book that got me hooked on reading when I was a child, was Lassie Come Home.

There are a few that I could and do read again and again.

The Black Stallion by Walter Farley

White Fang by Jack London

Ben-Hur by Lew Wallace

The Imperial Woman by Pearl Buck

I daily read the Bible, and never tire of it.

Too many too count and too many to choose just one for a favorite. I go through about a book a day and I've been reading ever since I was old enough to.
