I'm a virgo and I think some of the characteristics match, but some are WAY off. I don't believe in astrology because my ex-boyfriend was a Leo and he didn't match ANY of his traits. Try the chinese calendar, (year of the dragon, ox, etc) they're usually a lot more accurate!

It is very much ironic because virgo should translate easily into virgin,but it is proven by Sylvia Brown & other leading astrologers that they are actually the biggest whores of the zodiac.They also like to be very precise and do not enjoy being around "slow-pokes".Word of advice to other signs:

I have been married to a Virgo for 31 years and I would bet that makes me an expert on them. They are nit-picky perfectionists, but if you want a job done right, get a Virgo. They expect the same perfection from everybody else and can get really ticked if someobdy can't live up to it. He is extremely intelligent, soft-hearted (especially to kids and animals), will help anybody who needs it, and has high expectations for himself and others. The good outweighs the bad, but damn, sometimes I'd trade him for a good pack mule.
