Right now there are a couple of them stuck in between my two window panes. I think it has wings, it kind of looks like a cross between a bee, mosquito, and an ant. Any ideas? I have never seen anything like this. (I am in Chicago)

I have been seeing a lot of new bugs that I've never seen before. Everyone I talk to says there coming from over seas in crates and other stuff. I seen a bug something like that I don't know if its the same kind or not but the one I saw looked like a cross between a yellow jacket and a wasp.

I'm not sure but it was a great bug picture. Try putting in a loose lidded jar and watch at night to see if it is a glow bug.

Take the pictures to a entomolgist, (study of insects) at the univ. Free the bugs.

I have seen them before they are in the bee family. Just a little pollinator bug.

I've heard them referred to as stink bugs or wood beetles (because of the aroma they emit when squished- smells like wood)

If it has wings my best guess is a hornet.
