The original one was around 2:30, then when I import it, it turns into 28 seconds. I have no idea what is wrong with it because when I import other long video clips, it works.

It does divide my other long clips, but not this one. There is only one clip that gets imported, and there is only 28 seconds of it out of 2 minutes.

when you import into movie maker... it makes smaller clips from the original clip that you have. this makes them easier to handle and load onto the time line. you can always merge the small clips back into 1 big clip. i'm not too sure if movie maker has an option to not divide the imported clip... you can try and check though.
