Vertigo. It's an incredible artistic masterpiece, and the visionary Alfred Hitchcock's most profound and personal work. It is a tale of love, death, guilt and obsession, and it features highly inventive and creative camera angles, surreal and dream-like cinematography, beautiful San Francisco scenery, and a frightening, career-best performance from the terrific actor James Stewart.

"Good Fellas" and "Dr. Zhivago".
The first film takes you through an Odyssey of music that corresponds with the era; and overall it's just amazing. I read the book, and I swear to God, the movie is better.
Dr. Zhivago, b/c it's just beautifully done. Here's this guy, who is a good man, but he loves two women, with the backdrop of Russia. Heartbreaking with a surprise ending. 3 hours long, but worth it.

Newer movies:" I Walk the Line"...very well done, even if you don't like country music, this is a fine film.
Older: maybe "Field of Dreams"....I don't know how to describe it, but it's just so good.
One more surprise movie "Second Hand Lions". Very entertaining.

The Boondock Saints. If you have not seen this, you need to check it out.It is about 2 Irish brothers who become vigilantes and think they are on a mission from God to kill evil men. The language is rough, and it is violent but if you are a fan of Reservoir Dogs and Snatch, you will definitely like this one.

Lord of War. It's current, controversial, and realistic. It explores an important issue of our times. It stars Nicholas Cage as an international arms dealer. Very entertaining.

Although Star Wars and Matrix are on my top picks, my all time favorite movie is called "Hudson Hawk" with Bruce Willis.
