yes, of course, and your best non chemical treatment would be to put a childs pinwheel in the ground so it makes noise then it is spinning and it vibrates through the ground and scares the mole away.

The only way to get rid of a Mole is to use a Victor claw trap. You need to find his tunnel run first. You have to dig out 2 connecting holes. Then you need to get a piece of rebar or metal that will be used to push into the ground to find his under ground run. Once you find the run use a spade to carefully cut back the sod and set it to the side. Use a small trowl to dig out the hole so you can set the trap inside the hole. Use gloves when handling the trap, to hide your scent. Before inserting the trap, put a small clod of dirt under the trap trigger. Then cover the hole with an old plastic pot or bucket.
What will happen now is in the early morning the mole will feel the draft in the tunnel and cover the first hole you uncovered and then go down his run to cover the next hole you uncovered, but he'll hit the trap. You got him. Then take his mangy carcass drop it in the hole you made for the trap and put the dirt and sod on top of him.
If you don't get him the first time keep your trap set and keep opening the holes on the hills on each side of the trap. You will get him with a little patience.

They do not eat plant roots but in their search for grubs they destroy root systems and can severley disfigure the best kept lawn or garden. In addition the tunnels create weak spots in the soil that can cause problems walking because they often collapse as you pass over them. Go to your garden center and find a good anti-grub poison that will not harm your flowers. It will take a while for this to work and in the meantime you will just have to suffer the consequences. You should apply this material each spring as early as possible.

Yes. They are actually after the grubs who reside in the roots of plants. Go to Home Depot / Lowes and get a grub killer. Make sure it is for your veggies so it will not harm you when you harvest your veggies.
I jsut had this trub a few weeks back.
