is Akito a boy or a girl? i haven't gotten too far in the series to know...but i am reading the manga a little bit and i am terribly confused...is Akito a male or female? i am ashamed that i can not tell the difference...*hides in a corner*

The anime Aktio is a boy. The manga is more accurate in my opinion. She is a girl in the manga. If u look at some pictures u see her wearing lip stick and earrings. Go 2 wikipedia! Stupid Akito he hurt my precious Yuki!!!!!!!!! Akito's mother decided to raise her as a boy!

In the anime Akito is male, but in the manga Akito is female. And the manga goes farther then the anime.

Based on what I have seen in the anime version, Akito is a boy. Actually, he looks like YUki. I think......(don't hurt me!) He really made a big appearance at the last episode as far as I remember. he usually hurts his family members especially when he sees a bond or attachment between the 2 of them

in the anime, he looks clearly as a boy. but in the manga, "she's" an over-protective woman. Over-protective of the guys in her family. That's why she get's mad when she knows that one of them is liking someone...
