i agree. the tv sucks. all we get are crappy period dramas with has-been ex-eastenders on it. what exactly do we pay the tv license for? maybe its coz they are doing away with the tv license they are trying to save cash? oh and you are not missing much with channel 5 either. .they are the worst. all they show is crappy 1980's soft porn films - not that i ever watch any of those lol...

Yes I think it has got more publicity and for that I am pleased For the record I have donated - I fail to see why a Palestinian child is less of a human than a British one can you explain the difference? I also think our definition of poverty is somewhat different to that experienced in Gaza Edit - you are comparing or you wouldn't have mentioned it. I cant see how it becomes more important to help a child you dont know in say London than it to help a child you dont know in Gaza City. To me the one in London has access to a school, a hospital, an NHS dentist and optician. It has the full protection of the law and recieves state funded handouts if it is in poverty. The one in Gaza has none of these - whilst I do help those in the UK where possible - my 'home' as you put it is part of the human race and I look for the greatest need. But I do applaud anyone who helps fellow human beings - those that help and expect nothing in return are the greatest of all humans.

It's probably why I've got over 200 films on DVD.

It is rare to find a decent film on these days, although they did show The Italian Job after the first England game.
