The answer is in your fourth word of your first sentence; GOD. It is a religous issue. I love gays, and I happen not to be religous!Ask religous people if they like gays? I would bet not that many people would say "I do".
Gays are great. I am sorry what gays have to go through, it is strange that people would care if you have sex with a guy or a girl. NONE OF THERE BUS. I am streight, by the way.

Because some people believe being gay is a choice and is bad because it is unnatural and perverted. They believe that God loves everyone but He doesn't love all the choices we make. They believe God wants us to make choices that are good for us and the world and this choice upsets traditions that made this country great and the people in this country. They believe since this is a free country that it should be tolerated but not condoned or excepted as a norm. It's far from being normal. They feel it really isn't anything to be proud of or gays wouldn't need to build themselves up with "Gay Pride". If they're proud of what and who they are, they wouldn't feel a need to express it or convince others of it. Some believe it is a problem that people need to sympathize with and help them to find the reasons why they choose a self destructive, dis-functional lifestyle. I hope that answers your question but somehow I think you already knew this. I guess you're just looking for justification.

I wonder that too and i dont' understand. They focus in the most stupiest things and spend million of dollars on it in the end the problem is never solve just more complicated and wasting time when he could be doing better things that will improve our world but no.......he busy taking a vacation...
I wonder too why their is so much hatred in this workd and i find that we all judge and don't take time to notice our mistake and do what we think is right when in reality it's wrong. But what can we do but seek for it too end.

Simple. This isn't something that should be thrust into the mainstream, but should be kept behind closed doors. I mean, you don't see parades of straight guys walking down the streets carrying banners proclaiming how proud we are we sleep with women, do you? I personally don't understand why so many homosexuals seem to want to shove their sexual habits in other people's faces. Many of us don't want to hear about what goes on in another straight person's sex life, so we definitely don't want to even know a gay person has a sex life. I wish we could go back to the days of the 1950s, when it was considered improper to discuss sex as candidly as you might share tips on bowling a better game or swap recipes for dinner entrees.

Also, if people have the right to be proud they are gay (can't understand this myself, but bare with me a moment), why don't other people have the right to say they believe homosexuality is wrong, evil, vile, disgusting, immoral, unnatural, & just express their disapproval in general? What makes it any more right for people to throw parades proclaiming they are proud to try to find love in another man's hairy butthole than for people to proclaim they don't approve of people flaunting their sexuality in society's collective face? Many people may have young children who they aren't ready to explain a concept like homosexuality to yet, because these kids aren't even ready to learn what sex is yet. But still, homosexuals have their gay pride parades & other things in attempts to saturate the media with this so parents have younger & younger children coming to them asking what gays are. Why can't homosexuals help maintain children's innocence by not flaunting this behavior? In this case, I couldn't blame parents for having animosity for the homosexual community, because this is a topic a child shouldn't have to deal with at a young age, but they are having to, because now even the comic book companies are creating homosexual superheroes, & you can't tell me this isn't aimed at children. That's just wrong, & there's no defense for it.

They have to have something to worry about, that they can control. That's why no laws for gay marriage have gone through. Which I think is stupid, if we would let 'gays' marry eachother, they wouldn't make such a big deal about it. And yes, it is racist not to let them...how they get away with doing that, I have no idea.

Your right. God does love everyone, however,God does not love the act of homosexuality........ not once does God say in the Bible that its okay for men or women to have sex together........ so get over it!!!!!!!!

i agree it's a dumb issue but personally i'd rather not have gays shoved in my face. we don't have a straight pride parade, we don't walk around with shirts saying "i ***** women and i'm proud of it" i'm not asking gays to stay in the closet just keep it in the bedroom.
