As far as applying a defined value goes I believe it is a centillion, which is any single digit number followed by 303 zeros. I don't know if the spelling is right (spell check didn't recognize it) or if it is true at all.

Inifinity is not a number, but your question does in fact have an answer. The highest number in the world is the highest number that anyone has written down or thought of. I don't know exactly what the number is, but if I did, you can be sure it wouldn't stay the highest number for long. I would simply add one to that number and earn my own place in the record books.
If you are asking what the highest possible number in existence is, then the answer is that there isn't one. To the best of anyone's knowledge.

I doubt it. The fact that wrestlers in mainstream wrestling today are able to win an inordinate amount of titles when the creative team and bookers feel it's good for business yet can only hold them for so short a time only devalues those title reigns. When people like Flair and Hulk Hogan held those championships, a 16-time champion was far bigger than a big deal not only because he was a 16-time champ but also because he was able to hold those championships for close to or over a year. The fact that most other people would be either retired from wrestling or dead before they could even dream of reaching that goal simply added to the prestige of being a multi-time World Champion. Now you look at people like Edge, a guy who has won the championship 9 times in 4-5 years and yeah, you're gonna think he's a big deal, but even then to even try to compare Edge with Ric Flair would be a kick in Flair's nuts. It doesn't help either that a lot of other people like Kurt Angle, Triple H, John Cena, Batista, the Undertaker and Chris Jericho have also won multiple titles. The result of this is of course that people would start to think that multiple-time champs don't matter as much, since they're everywhere nowadays.

No they do not. Like you said now in days in WWE world titles change superstars every two weeks. The world titles (especially the WWE championship) have changed hands so many times that it means nothing now for a wrestler to be a 10 time world champion. Look at Triple H, he used to stand out for being a 13 time world champion, the most world titles in WWE after Ric Flair. But now those 13 world titles don't stand out as much because Cena already has 9 and Edge has 9 as well (At Wrestlemania there's a 70% chance that he'll win his 10th world title) Those 13 title reigns that Triple H has don't stand out much anymore. John Cena, barely 31, is a 9 time world champion. Unless they really go a long time without giving him titles, by the time he retires, he'll more than likely be a 15 time world champion at least. Multiple title reigns have lost their meaning in WWE. I've noticed how WWE doesn't mention the number of world titles each wrestler has held anymore as much as they used to do before. Even 3 years ago, being a 4 time world champion was a very impressive feat for the current wrestlers. There were very few 4 time world champions with at least 4 world titles. The only ones that had over 4 world titles were Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair and Triple H. Cena at the time had like 2 world titles. Batista had like 2 as well. Orton had 1, Edge had 2. Now, only 3 years later, Batista has 6, Orton has 6, Edge has 9, and Cena has 9. And that was only 3 years ago. Ever since WWE stopped with the long title reigns in late 2008, world titles have lost their meaning, in WWE.

The simple answer is that there isn't one. Mathematically, there is no limit to integers (whole numbers). We use "infinity" as a placeholder for a theoretical "highest number".
The more complex answer is that some mathematicians conjecture numbers larger than "infinity". The reasoning is thus: 1) there are an infinite number of integers (whole numbers); 2) there are an infinite number of real numbers (fractions, decimals, etc.) between each integer; 3) therefore, the total number of real numbers is infinity x infinity, or what's called an "infinityplex".
Personally, I think it's hogwash...

There is no Highest number because you can always go higher. The 'theory' of infinity originated in India, so did the 'theory' of '0'.
Infinity would have to be the highest number......i think.

The highest number in the world is actually called a "google". It is a one with a hundred million zeroes after it or somethong like that , but even that you can still add one. In any event it is called a google.
