The Colorado supreme court ruled that girls 12 years old and boys 14 years old can legally marry whom evey they choose even if the person they choose to marry is 40. However, two ADULT gay men or women cannot be married because it will supposedly destory the institution of marriage. How is it "ok" for Kids to marry but not gay adults?? This is one weird country we live in!

Yeah I thought the same thing when I read that in the news yesterday.
The institution of marriage becomes less "sacred" the more they harp on how we are trying to destroy it.
Seems to me that if something is blessed by the "Almighty" how could anything as dirty as a sinner like homosexuals do anything to harm it?
I can't believe Christians actually believe homosexuals are more powerful than their God.
Great question! Thought provoking and makes a real point in our favor. The truth is they don't think marriage is really sacred, they just pretend that so that they can continue discriminating against gay people.

wow. I hadnt even heard about that... I am all for gay marriages, always have been, always will be. but KIDS getting married??? now that is bullsh*t. under no circumstances would I allow my son or daughter to get married at that young of an age. how would they support themselves, or if they married a 40 year old or something like that then wouldnt that be saying that podophilia is acceptible? and what about schooling? this raises all sorts of questions.. and that this has been allowed in the USA.... this is f*cked up.

That...just made me think of Lolita, for some reason.
I guess their argument will be the usual...you have to perpetuate the species in order to get married. Which is exactly why we don't allow infertile or elderly couples to get married *massive eyeroll*.
And hey...it's probably not much different from biblical times. Girls would get married at around twelve or thirteen, and gays wouldn't even be allowed to EXIST, much less marry.
Gotta love biblical logic.
