I thought kiwi was sweet but I VERY recently encountered one that was sour and icky!!!!!

The sour kiwis are really good with a little salt but, yes, usually they're sweet. They should be soft to the touch but not mushy.

I've had this happen and I really don't know how to tell a sweet one from a sour one. Other than checking for ripeness, I don't know how to tell the difference. I guess it's like oranges. You don't know until you bite into it.

yeah i had a kiwi fruit it was my best friend we golfed together rode bikes watched tv. Were were going to be friends forever. Then one day he was stabbed viciously and died. i liked him alot

yes i lyke them...but all thys...sometymes im sweet, sometymes im sour thing is messed up....

Actually, if you wait until they are ripe (sort of soft to the squeeze) they are sweet and yummy!
