I guess that would best be done on the phone, not in front of the dogs. They might sense your fear and concern, and that would probably trouble them. Not to mention troubling you and your friend.
It sounds like the dogs like you, so the issue is really more with you than with the dogs. They're hella scary to you, but obviously not to your friend and probably not to many others, as they sound like friendly dogs.
You can just tell her that the dogs scare you and you'd appreciate it if your friend could keep the dogs away from you.

Some people hold an animals life to be more valuable than a humans which sickens me. I mean hell I still have "outside" dogs. They have a dog house to go into when it's hot. People are to sensitive about everything these days. I've had Animal Control or whatever called on me because I had my pit on a 15 pound chain , which is basically nothing. It still has plenty of room to run around, i take it out for walks, and whatever else I need to do to take care of it. What your friend did was in no way, shape or form animal abuse, that old b i t c h neighbor needs to mind her own f u c k i n g business. EDIT: when I ate chicken I loved jerk chicken <3. I still know what it tastes like and it was pretty damned good. oh yea...I'm a vegan

I had the same problem with my friends cats. I just flat out told her "Hey I don't like cats" and she was cool with it. I mean you two are friends right? What's the big deal? Just tell her/him that you're scared of the dogs and as a friend they should be understanding.

People tend to have blind spots when it comes to family pets. Just sit her down and tell her how you feel about them. Be nice, but make sure she understands that not everyone sees her dogs the same way that she does.

Suggest to her that obedience school may be just the thing for she & her droolers. Stand firm and tell her that until these dogs are controlled, you'll not be visiting her in her home. You should not have to feel scared or slimy everytime you are there.

Flat out, but kindly. Be straight to the point but not mean about her dogs.

Say, "I really flippin' can't stand your big, sloppy, drooly dogs, man. Could you please control them so they don't jump all over my awesome self? Geez. K, thanks."
