go to any folder then go to your TOOLS option. Then click on FOLDER OPTIONS. Then click on FILE TYPES tab and you can set whatever player you want to use for your files. Just scroll down and set it to winamp instead. Use the CHANGE button to change it and you can scroll down and look for winamp and just set it.

1) Get to the folder(or song) where the song is located.
2) Right click a song.
3) Click Open With.
4) Click Choose Program...
5) Find Winamp in the list
a. If you can't find Winamp in the list, click other.. and find the program.
6) Before pressing OK, click "Always use this program to open these files"
7) Press Ok.

Open Winamp and press Ctrl+P. It will take you to "Preferences" and there look for "File Types". You will have the option to click on "All" or "Audio Only" or choose the file types individually. If you click "All" it will select everything including video.

Run winamp, and configure it to play all media it can play, it will be in the preferences.
