I just dont understand why its okay for men to sleep with multiple partners..but when a girl does..shes a slut. why not a pimpette?

Because it's a double standard and it sucks.

Maybe it comes from the fact that women take more risk in that they can get pregnant. Some of it comes from the fact that women have only one-third of the sex hormones men have AND it's on a cyclical basis and people think women should be more restrained.

Women STILL aren't considered equal - it wasn't all that long ago that you couldn't legally rape your wife. Society is working on it. I'm just glad I live in America.

At some point you may begin to understand that it is not healthy to live your life being so concerned with what others think. Pick friends and associates that think like you do. Live your life and go through your relationships with dignity and decorum. Age-old biases will never be erased, but you don't have to come in contact with them on a regular basis if you so choose. Be a part of the answer by using respectful language when talking about others. That's all you should do and all you should be concerned about.

But you are thinking about it, lol. (1) because women are mothers or mothers to be and in our society, they set the moral yardstick. when a divorce takes place , who get the kids? the mother usually ( I know not always but usually). (2) women are always using the respect thing, they strive to be respected in our society, they imply that other women who screw more than one guy is a sl'ut, and complain when judged by the same standards.
(3) Most people are living in the past when it was unusual for women to screw anyone that came along. just like your using "sleep with multiple partners" they aren't sleeping, they are screwing, you chose an euphemism to imply sex because it sounded cleaner in your mind. you probably thought that saying screwing sounded vulgar and you would escape judgment by using an euphemism. once again you have compounded the double standard problem.
