I think this is a bit of a wives tale, but my doctor just told me i was probably going to have a girl because the baby's heart beat was 160. I'm not sure what the normal heartrate so Its hard to judge. Good Luck.. are you going to get an ultra sound to find out?

They say a boy's heart rate is higher....
However this is just a myth.
If you want to have some fun with what sex try this one....(i've seen this one pretty accurate)
Take a ring....place it on a necklace. Let it hang from your finger over your wrist. If it swings up your arm your having a GIRL. If it swings across your wrist it is a BOY. This will also tell you how many children you are having in your lifetime. If it slows and starts again that is the next child. If it swings then stops your having one child. If it goes in a circle it is TWINS or MORE

Your baby heart rate is 140 or more beats per minute, so it's a girl.Less Then 140 its a boy..!!

Yes dont go buy that cause I heard that if it was high it was a girl mine was 177 and im having a boy. If you want to know what sex your having I recomend going to Google.com and typing in "is it a boy or a girl?" its a chinese thing its like the 5th link down on that page. it worked for me and my friend. It doesn't matter what you are having. What matter the most that you love the child and care for the child. My aunt went nine months with knowing what she was having and she had a baby girl.It is cool not to find out what the baby is cause then it ruins the fun of it.

You really can't go by that- my Dr. told me the heart rate of my last one sounded like a girls heart rate- and even 3 sono's said it was a girl- Well, when it was born- it was a BOY! Nothing is absolute until they are born.
