If you've got spare RAM you can; but if you want c.d. quality sound its best to slow down the recording speed and leave the pc alone while its ripping and burning. You can do it at a time when you're about to go off and do something else and leave it to run.

the simple answer is yes, aslong as you aren't runnin 22 seperate explorer windows at the same time, it shouldn't affect the burnin proccess

yep. as long as your computer can handle it. the ram determines how many things it can do at once. so more ram will give you more freedom to do loads of stuff at once.
