Why oh why is everyone so afraid of masterbation? There are no ill effects of masterbating!!!! IT'S PERFECTLY HEALTHY AND HARMS NO ONE!

Well, a man who masturbates allot, is definitely using his imagination. And that tends to include visceral fantasy. So, depending on you moral code, this could be a drain on his commitment to you. The old 'looking at another woman is effectively adultery' kind of thing. So the results could be harmful to a long term relationship.
As to physical effects, I am not away of any real ones apart from decreased sensitivity for the man if he does it a whole lot. You know, the proverbial farmers hands applied elsewhere.

Contrary to what some people are saying it is healthy and this agrees with others. In fact when a man hits the age of 35 they should ejaculate 5 times a week to prevent prostate cancer. I am betting his woman will not be up to sex 5 times a week every week at that age so that's when masturbation comes into play.

there are as a matter of fact negative effects of masturbation, on a long term....
it can affect a man's erection during sexual intercourse
and it has a psychological effect of causing an early overshoot of sperms, which decreases orgasm in both the male and the female.
I suggest you don't do it, its a very bad habit

Ejaculation is an effect. I imagine it will continue to be, in the future.
