I looked this up on the net and found a couple articles advising to use a soft cloth dampened with water and isopropyl alcohol in a half and half mix. Seems ethyl alcohol makes the screen turn yellow and so does Windex and other stuff with ammonia. Or you could buy those screen wipes for laptops. But I have found that whereas the screen looks clean, they leave a film - you can see it when your screen is off and you tilt it around in a good light.

Lightly moisten a piece of soft cloth with a 50/ 50 solution of iso-propyl alcohol and water. Very gently wipe the screen. Do not use standard glass cleaning liquids or any other type of solvent since they will damage the screen. If you prefer, go to any office supply or computer store and obtain a Kensington brand cleaning kit. It comes complete with cleaner and soft wipes.

DO NOT use any chemicals ! Damp cotton with water, squeeze excess water & rub it from left to right (one way)& clean immediately with a dry soft cotton. Don't press hard on the screen & try to take as big cotton as possible. Keep a hand on the back of the laptop screen to give support & to avoid accident pressure on screen.

Most computer shops sell cleaning kits for laptop and LCD screens. Be very careful, the screen is very easily damaged.
