Spray it with a water hose (preferably high pressure) to knock it down. The bees will often move away if you keep doing it.

Otherwise, spray them with a flying insect killer to kill them.

Many local beekeepers will be glad to take it, some cities have professional removal groups.

Spraying bees with soap water makes it impossible for them to breathe. Get some of that in spray cans, and a bucket of it mixed up. Pour the bucket on them, and spray any that come at you.

Keep in mind that a bunch of bees swarming around you could be a dangerous situation. Also remember that if a person is allergic to a bee's sting, their air passages could obstruct, and this person could actually die . I believe that each one should stick to their own trade. Call a professional pest control agency. In some states/countries, the fire department will come to your rescue.

You can get Bee-B-Gone at Wal*Mart or any place that sells insect or bug repellent. Then take a spray bottle and fill it with water to spray the beehive AFTER you have already sprayed it with repellent.

Wait until dark. Then drop it in a big garbage can half filled with water. Or you could call a bee removing service, this way you won't get bit.

I've found that most city hall's have a list of bee keepers.
That way someone can still benefit from the bees. its better than to try and kill them with fire or anything
