Angola, Czech Republic, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Serbia & Montenegro, Togo, Trinidad & Tobago and Ukraine are making their debuts.
Angola wasn't an independent nation before 1975, Czech Republic before 1993, Ghana before 1957, Ivory Coast before 1960, Serbia & Montenegro before 2003, Togo before 1960, Trinidad & Tobago before 1962 and Ukraine before 1991.
Players from all these nations could have appeared before 1974 (Angolans for Portugal, Czechs for Czechoslovakia, Ghanians and Trinidadians for England, Ivorians and Togolese for France, Serbians and Montenegrins for Yugoslavia and Ukranians for the USSR)
