Some people try to empower themselves by using derogatory expletives and "name calling". They do it from a fear of being suppressed or from knowing they have no rational answers for those who oppose them. It would be better if non-liberals could debate the liberal "ideas", but since most liberals are sheep and follow the flock, their ideas become generic without purpose and meaning. Liberal "extremists", like most extremists", make a habit of being argumentive by nature. Most people who debate them, are usually self thinkers with good self-esteem who can communicate powerfully without the name calling. I call these people conservatives and moderates, not extremists

It is not funny how non-liberals maintain special favors for themselves. The rules according to the non-liberals are for everyone else, that is, the rules are not for conservatives or Republicans to have to follow. No, we get to pay the bill, not the conservatives.
So, it is very hard to stay calm when you see, and know, that manipulation of information, goals, passions or even hopes and dreams are being created for the purpose of confusing people.
The non-liberals true motivations are often based on the desire to harm other people or hold other people in bondage.
The non-liberal could care less about large groups of people in the Country. "Let them eat cake," is still their motto. For example,
The non-liberals jump at the idea that all of our border problems are the fault of the illegal workers who cross the border to earn income for their families back home. But the truth is that Americans need the cheap and good labor provided by illegals.
Non-Liberals just do not admit their true motivations in attacking illegals. Many do not want the responsibility of contributing to the solutions to the problems of America. And, Non-liberals just keep muddying the waters of social discourse to insure there grip on power.
Basically, the Conservatives are willing to do or say anything to maintain power. Power is the garbage can that non-liberals are hiding under.

You give your own Political affiliation away by asking your question framed in that way. There fore it would be pointless to even answer you, but I'll try and enlighten you.
I think ALL people when pushed into a corner or put on the spot are tempted to do that. That is if they aren't cool and rational at the time.
Both parties have done that. It's like asking, which came first, the chicken or the egg?

IF I told you ,you still would not understand for the simple reason your mind is closed and locked tight by the principles you learned as a youth .
THESE values were pounded so deeply into your brain you are not even aware of the effect it has on your objectivity.
I hate to say this but until you are able to open your mind and remove the grip placed on it in your youth you will never understand anything.
I will try to help you by saying both liberals and conservatives are wrong completely blinded by the reality that surrounds you both.
YOUR efforts are against each other for religious and political ideaologies that both of you can never look at with an open mind .Liberals are not liberal enough and conservatives are simply lost completely.
NAME calling is an effort to get your un-divided attention with poor results as you can tell both sides then begin to use this method and in the end nothing ever changes .
UN-less you compliment your opponent on his grasp of the situation and point out how terrific his plan is and how you would like to help.
NOW once the two of you sit down and begin to talk all those old feelings begin to stir and the two of you realize you come from completely different worlds and that no progress will be made because the two of you hate one-another.
THIS is not your fault your parents did this to you ,but I have a cure if you are willing to take it.
MOST people would rather not change, at all, for fear of things being so different ,that they can not handle the truth .
you will need to find open water on the coast of the atlantic or pacific ocean a lake is not large enough.for two hole days you need to swim towards the riasing or setting sunaway from shore furthere and further.
ON the third day you need to just examine everything you were ever told and see if it helps you out at this point other then the fact the sun rises in the east and if you were swimming towards europe you need the sun at your back while returning to shore and if in the pacific swim towards the sun in the morning. ONCE and if you even make it back to shore you will have the answer to everything.IF not the it was GODS will.
FROM this point on you will no longer be concerned with such matters as who points or says what to who and a warm feeling will be with you for the rest of your life.
THE smartest people i know checked out some maps and found the safest places to complete this transformation in understanding of ones self and his place in the world.
IF you think doing this in a boat is safer it is but then you will never get it alone in the dark miles from anywhere floating and swimming along with only one purpose to find the truth i can not tell you what it is several people have reported to me different experiances but all have come to one un-shakeable realization and that is you have to find this out for your- self .IF you have what it takes feel free to begin your journey at any time and let me know how it turns out . ONE week of your life to find all the answers is short compared to a lifetime of wondering .YOU will know the truth .
THIS IS A VOUYAGE OF TRUE DISCOVERY AND MUST BE DONE ALONE GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND THE ANSWER IS WAITING TO BE FOUND IF YOU LOOK FOR IT.
only panic causes drowning all people can swim from birth and fear is the only impediment to swimming do not say i can not swim as a way to avoid finding the answers.

Cause you're an @sshole...
(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)
Seriously, the answer lies in your own question. Liberal people often talk about "conservatives", "republicans", and "neo-cons" as if these groups were unified brains with a single stream of consciousness. They look at thought trends within the group and attribute these thoughts to every member of the group. Saying that, "Conservatives don't care about poor people," is no better than saying, "Black people love fried chicken and watermelon." It's also no better than saying that, "Liberals resort to name-calling at the first opportunity."
Statements like these commit a logical fallacy called Undistributed Middle. Obviously, some conservatives do care about poor people. Some black people hate watermelon. Liberals don't always resort to name-calling. Making innacurate absolute statements creates false accusations. It alienates people who don't fall into the particular category of the statement. Such generalization is easy to fall into. It makes ideas easier to manipulate abstractly and saves time in conversation. Unfortunately, it also creates further division between people, rather than fixing the problems between them.
Every person is a person, possessed of individual opinions and a capacity for independant thought. Treating people as members of a group, rather than as individuals, is something we're all guilty of. It's also something we all need to work to correct if we ever want to be able to work together.

Cause you're a big stupid du-du head.
Liberals and conservatives call each other names all the time. It's part of politcs. Trying to say liberals resort to name calling and conservatives don't is cute but not true. I mean common conservatives use liberal and democrat and communist and socialist as synonyms and you're complaining that liberals are the guilty party.
Everybody is alive and therefore everyone is guilty.
Grow up and deal with it du-du head.

Because they are politicians and that is what they do. Most politicians since the days of President Grant have resorted to "mud-slinging" and defaming the character of their opponent because they want to draw attention away from themselves and their rather forgettable or unpopular political/personal agendas. I also think that liberals believe that they are the poor, underpriveleged and misunderstood political faction when, in actuality, liberals comprise a vast majority of the people in America. But again, not ALL liberals are name-calling babies, just a lot of them.

okay time to buy a clue. They both do it. Don't give me this crap that liberals do it more than conservatives. You just ignore when a conservative does it and do not notice it. Try looking at it objectively and you will see. If you are looking for well thought out discussions, seek elsewhere.
I can read just fine, you ask a stupid question full of unproven assumptions and expect an answer? Please reread my first sentence.

Its both sides, Liberals and Cons. Open your eyes and read. Neither side will listen to the other. Instead of listening, they're coming up with the next insult to sling.

I am not trying to turn it around, but the president speaks to the american people as though they are 5 year olds, and can't understand a little bit of information. When you are having a war of words on the kindergarten playground, you need to expect that name-calling, tantrum throwing, hair-pulling and crying about it later will ensue.
