It can be, but you should definitely talk to your Dr. and have some blood and thyroid tests. Water can help keep energy up. But there can be other more serious issues.

lack of water, amongst other things, can have a huge effect on your level of energy. If I remember correctly from biology, the human body is composed somewhere in the neighborhood of 90% of water. I've been reading a book by Kevin Trudeau (Natural cures "They" don't want you to know about) and in it, it states that upon waking up you're supposed to drink a glass of water FIRST THING (before breakfast or even brushing your teeth) and then drink an excessive amount of water throughout the day (something like ten glasses). I'm no expert, but I highly recommend you read this book (It talks about how the human body, although a perfect working machine, is made to be sluggish in our society... i.e. fast food harms the body, any prescription or nonprescription drug harms the body [the book states that even the pharmaceutical companies admit that no patented drug cures any disease], pollution and even radio and T.V. waves harm the body). Before you start drinking straight tap water, a word of caution... the book also states that the chlorine and flouride dumped into public water supplies are extremely harmful to the body (chlorine is put in pools to kill bacteria, bacteria is a living organism... so is your body; flouride is so potent that it can't be dumped anywhere on earth, its dumped into the public water supply under the gise of "being good for our teeth").

well, get it and read it,

Lack of drinking water sure could cause fatigue. If you are dehydrated (your body doesn't have enough water to work properly) you will feel tired. If you don't like plain water try those flavored waters to boost your energy

Have your blood sugar checked. Get checked for anemia. Drinking water is important. Sounds like you have a good diet. Exercise everyday will make you more awake. Also stress can cause fatigue. Good luck.

You might have sleep apnea. Various things can cause it. Do you snore? Do you have a pain in your legs when you wake up? (Caused by random leg jerks, a symptom of apnea) You need to see a doctor or even a clinician about this. If it is apnea it is easily remedied with a small oxygen machine or machine designed to move air. It could be something more serious however.

yeah, you could be dehydrated. probably why you're feeling tired is because your body is sensing dehydration and it's trying to conserve energy. think of how staving oneself cannot really help lose weight -- the body senses starvation (or it thinks there is a famine) and it holds on to your fat for energy and slows down your metabolism so that you don't use up all the energy you have. i think that's the same with water.

try incorporating an exercise regimen to your schedule. it helps beat exhaustion... gives you a boost of energy. or it could be you're in a very low-calorie diet -- and that's why you feel tired, because your blood sugar is down. <-- this is due to my experience. whenever i try to put myself on a strict low-calorie diet, my energy drive goes down. instead of limiting the things that you eat, try substituting them for healthier options instead. you can never go wrong with vegetables -- they're low in calories and very high in fiber, which makes you feel fuller longer.

Yes! this is VERY likely-----Drinking water flushes out your system, it hydrates your skin, and without enough of it, it WILL dehydrate you! Dehydration can cause tiredness, so Yeah---drink your 8 8 ounce glasses and you will see big changes ALL the way around!!!!

These people are nuts. Water has nothing to do with your fatigue. And that whole 8 glasses a day thing is nothing but a myth and folklore. Pay no attention to them.

Also, you shoould work out at least an hour a day--working out gives you energy.

You could also try eating more iron. You may have iron-poor blood. Get a blood test.
