I have lasik'ed my eyes about a month ago, but still, my right eye sees things in double, in a way that each thing (far or near) has a slight shadow to its right side). as the distance grows, so does the distance between the thing and its shadow. Is this condition temporary or constant? why has it happened (as it wasn't like this at the beginning) and does it require special concern or treatment?

I would be concerned and go see a doctor. That doesn't sound good. I had the procedure done about 5 years ago and never had a problem.

You should definitely go back & see the surgeon. It's my understanding there will be fluctuations in your vision for approx. 6-8 months.

I had Custom Lasik a week ago & I'm loving it! I'm now 20/15.

My daughter and grandson had this procedure done. He had problems for over a week, but saw the doctor and the problem resolved. My daughter has done beautifully.
I would certainly go in to see the doctor and tell him what you've told us.

It can be normal healing but I would speak with your surgeon. If they don't give you the answers you need, ask your GP to refer you to an Ophthalmologist. It may cost you a copay but if you get the answer, it would be worth it.
