If I am held in contempt of court for my first offense what would the penalty be?

The contempt of court would be because my son's father and i did not agree on a visitation schedule for father's day weekend and he wrote a letter to the judge saying i did not follow the parenting guidelines for indiana parents.

In my county they lock you up for up to six months. I think the judge gets his jollies on it.

personally i think it worng for there to be jail time on this one, as basically they are forcing you to respectthere system and there are cases where jail time is preferable to knuckling under their demands
