Inner peace is not an idea, nor can ideas imagine a way to inner peace. Inner peace is an event, a movement in actuality. Therefore, any escape into ideation or thought leads toward confusion, not peace. If you become totally aware of what actually is, of what you actually are, there may be an action toward peace.

I think the 12 steppers are on to something when they say this,
"Grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference."
That the serenity, wisdom and courage= inner peace in my eyes.

An unstressed mind.
One without secrets or things kept in the heart can have such peace of mind.
And to be able to "communicate" within oneself, getting to know what you truly are...inside.
Just sit and try to think of it...(Yep, sounds just like meditation)
