It's already been done twice in the comics. The Flash won the first race, but only because Superman stopped in the middle to take care of some super villain. The second time around, Superman won, but by less than a step.
Sorry folks, Justice League and Smallville don't count.
For all intents and purposes, they tie.

actually, the Flash would win, if you are speaking of Barry Allen or Wally West. They were able to tap into the "Speed Force" which Superman was not able to. This allowed the Flashes to not only go fast as hell, but also draw speed from others to add to their own. So, in a race, Superman would actually run slower than if he was just running by himself, because Flash would be drawing his speed and adding it to his own.

Superman is said to be "faster than a speeding bullet." While the Flash is said to be as fast as the speed of light. So it's the Flash. I mean, it's either the Flash, or they are pretty much equal in speed.

in reality Flash can run faster than time itself if he wanted and superman is only slightly faster than a bullet. If i had my gues for foot race then Flash would win. If its in battle supes would win big time but this is foot race. I love superman but have to say Flash would win for sure if he really cranked up his speed to top level.
