Imagine you are presented 2 identical product (LV bag or Tahitian pearl) in front of you, one is real and one is fake. How do you find out which one is real?

Leather purses made by Gucci and Prada will not catch flame if you run a cigarette lighter over the top of them (the threads will though so be careful).
A jeweler will be able to help you with the pearl thing.

LV bag is simple. I would match my real LV bag with theirs then see the lining of the leather and the color of the bag and inside texture, the number stamped. Tahitian pearls, I don't know. I don't own any. I guess the jewlers.

Well i know some of the fake bags have a little tag inside that say made in china.... other then that you probably have to look at the fine details like markings etc
