Not having a British team is the reason we don't enter into Olympic football, but i don't mind that as there are too many 'non-traditional' sports there already.
5 years ago we could have had Ryan Giggs on the left in a British team, but I can't think of too many other players we could replace with others we could replace with non-English.
Unless they've got a couple of fit strikers in Scotland. Or a decent Northern Irish penlty taker. And maybe a Welsh manager.(Mark Hughes anyone?)

I think that we should alwats have had a Great Britain team. Can you imagine the infighting with the Scots though.

no cuz it would just end up being an english team with token welsh scots and northern irish, it would be a piss take as u well know. At least we scots admit we're crap
