Darwin was a idiot,he believed that man came from a monkey, and that we humans had tails also, but after the process of changing from a monkey to human,we humans learned to walk upright on our feet and legs and no longer had use for a tail,so through time the tail disappeared. which is pure bull crap,that's just one idiots opinion and not a true fact, he was trying to say that GOD didn't exist, and GOD didn't create the world,the animals and humans, I have never believed in nothing Darwin said.

He observed animals on the Gallapagos Islands and found that because they were cut off from similar species, they had developed different characteristics. That led him to develop his theory of evolution which is the basis of most biological science today.
Note:
No scientist, not even Darwin, has ever said that humans evolved FROM monkies. Because we are so similar to them though, it is clear that we had a common ancestor. And there are skeletal remains that prove that.

He didn't come out with the theory of evolution. He described a process whereby creatures adapt to new surroundings. He was horrified when he considered the remifications of a theory about evolution.
