Well this question really depends on your worldview. Research confirms what everyday experience basically tells us, that things across the board are getting worse in society. If you have an athesistic worldview, then this is the end of it things are definitely getting worse. However, if you have a theistic worldview AND, in specific, if that includes some sort of "end time" (i.e. Jesus's 2nd coming in Christianity) then one could make the arguement that in things getting worse, they are drawing nearer to the end time which is the best possible of all outcomes and ipso facto things overall are getting better. Sorting that out is up to you!

Uhhhh, that question is a wee bit too broad. Do you mean ALL things...or something specific? But all in all, I would say that things are getting worse. If I knew what you meant by "things" I would give you a more informed and intelligent sounding answer.

You have to look from different prospectives. According to GOD all evil is for greater GOOD. So if we follow this logic things getting worst just to get even bigger better.
