Why not Alcohol is much worse and it's legal! I don't care for it myself but to each his own!

In my "research ;) I've found it to be altering enough to take control, even on a moderate level,,,and I so enjoy being in control of my own faculties.
That said, the arguments against it,,,Politically, are inane. The issue could be legalizing would actually add control, and Prices would soar, in tax revenues,,,perhaps even pay for our fuel "crisis"
On the moral side, and I noticed a reference to GOD,,, The bible clearly states,,,though I'll paraphrase,,, Mankind shall partake of all seed bearing fruits and herbs. I think cannabis,,, applies.
However,, you silly pot head,,, Do it, privately, since it is still "ILL Eagle" Enjoy it while you can,,,cuz one day UNC. SAM is gonna take it over, and you'll pay 20 bucks plus for a PACK, at your local 7-11.
Until then,,, you might consider moving to Columbia or some such,,,where it's OK to grow it, harvest it, even smoke it, but not SELL it??????????

I think it should be legal. It certainly isn't worse than many other legal substances. I don't think people should be giving it to school children or anything, nor should they drive under the influence. But if people wanna smoke it in their homes or grow it in their basement they should be able to. There certainly are worse drugs to spend money and time on. Legalize pot and focus on the more problematic drugs.

I've never tried the stuff but my ex husband served in the last gulf war. He says it calms him and lets him be free for a while.
