Im refering to the people who hold up signs advertising anything from a sale at a store or a special promotion.

At kmart, we had to volunteer for the job and i got paid the same as if i were working a normal shift. I think they did hire some people for it, but they were paid minimum wage.

enough for 1 rock of crack and a 40oz. Actual wage will depend on area. They don't expect "a good wage" or "decent" work. They want cash. Today.
