Most muslim women have little choice. They are locked up and guarded. They couldn't if they tried and might be murdered by their families if they did or even talked about doing.
Many of the men are so religious that they do not experiment.
The rich, westernized, privilaged, and educated are a different matter.

wrong...they are suppose to keep to this no sex before marriage..but a lot will not stick to these rules. it depends on the family situation if there is to be a arranged marriage then the rules will stand. if a man is free to see the westernised way you can guarentee he will do it. i believe that in egypt most of the young women are more westernised and can be free to go to clubs etc..but the rule will stick by women more than man. i mean lets face it what man would be still a virgin if he went to hurghada and sharm for a holiday when there are so many russian woman tourists. mmmm think about it.

Yes this is true. And Muslims are very strict about this. Almost all of them do wait. Very rarely would a Muslim break this important rule.

So do Christians, Catholics, Baptists, and pretty much any religion that is based on the bible. But I doubt that more than 1% of either religion does it.
