LOL THAT'S HALARIOUS! It depeneds on what you ruined. lol... If they are your best friend tell them... they will understand and cope with it. But if they arn't your friend, don't say a word. lol. I don't know that's just too darn halarious. It's like my dad... he got drunk one night and crawed through my sisters window and peed in my sisters drawer. Looking back on it now it's pretty funny.

My guess is if you're friends with the person who owned the dresser, then definitely yes. And on general principle, at least as a common courtesy, the answer would still be yes.

You shouldn't have told them. You should have been nice and cleaned up your mess before they saw it! I would die if someone threw up in my dresser and then I found it later after it had hardened, ew....
