When a baby is still in the womb, do they open their eyes? If so, is that bad because they are surrounded by amniotic fluid? Doesn't that hurt their eyes (kind of like opening your eyes under water)?

They do open their eyes! It is kindof like opening them underwater, but the amniotic fluid is sterile! It won't hurt the baby at all! When they come out the doctors put drop in their eyyes to prevent infection! ( i can't remember what is in the drops tho!)

yes they do open their eyes in the womb, but it doesnt hurt them in any way. a nasty thing is that they pee in the womb too, and swallow it. i found that hard to believe but a doctor confirmed that it is true. it doesnt hurt them though

yes a baby opens its eyes and its ok because they are used to the enviroment

they do open their eyes.... and they can see light if a light is shined on your belly! do you know they can also hear while in the womb!?!?
