It's probably too soon to find out, but I am wondering if I'm going to get my period, if I'm just real stressed out or if I'm pregnant. I've been cramping an awful lot the last few days and they've been some of the worst cramps ever. My bf and I have been trying for a baby and it's been three weeks since our last coupling. I had my period on the 11th of last month and was expecting it on the 12th of this month and didn't get it. So with all this cramping, is my period just late, could I be pregnant, or am I just stressed out from worrying about getting pregnant?

Update: The cramping has stopped and my period has yet to come. I am thinking it has something to do with the fact that my man and I got another chance to try for a baby. We're hoping our try will prove fruitful. What do you think?

If you have other symptoms, like sore breasts, or moodiness, your hormones might be changing due to pregnancy. If it's about the time for you to start, go ahead and test. Good luck!

Sounds like it could be stress or early pregnancy. Both have similar symtoms. The only way to know for sure is to take a home pregnancy test. The newer ones out are very accurate and detect pregnancy extremely early.Do it today to relieve some of the stress you are experiencing. If negative. RELAX, a pregnancy will happen at some point and being worried about it will not help. IF you are positive, Congratulations!!

It could be stress, if you were stressed around the time you should have ovulated. Once you ovulate it is about 14 days until you get your period. Stressing about a late period isn't going to delay it.
Then again, you could be pregnant. Are your breasts tender? Do you feel sick to your stomach? (I didn't have morning sickness with either of my pregnancies though) Look up pregnancy symptoms on the web or get a pregnancy book.
Have you taken a home pregnancy test? They are pretty accurate, although if you take one too early you could get a false negative. If you were due to get your period on the 12th and today is the 16th, the test should be accurate. Good luck!

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths

I would say it's coming late and it's the stress.
If you are preg you shouldnt have all that cramping it wouldn't be a good sign.
I lost a baby at 7 weeks... and had tons of cramping
take a test in a few days

Sounds all too familiar. You are probably stressed. You can keep pregnancy tests on hand to keep your mind at ease. It all depends on if you are usually very regular, but even your body can have off days.

The likelyhood that you are pregnant is quite high. The newer pregnancy tests are very accurate, I suggest you get one.

You should definitely buy pregnancy test, because as you described this it could be anything. It is not too soon to buy a test.
