No, sex should be a sacred union between a man and a woman who truly love one another and are married or thinking about getting married. Children, and that's what they are, think sex is cool and they dont think about the consequences behind it. Disease, pregnancy, unable to do the things you would want if you became pregnant. How can this be a good thing. Sex is all around us, it's on TV, in our schools, and yes even in our churches. What we must do as good parents, is inform our children of the consequences of having sex at such a young age.

NO!!!! Teen sex is never a good thing, they are not grown up enough or responsible enough to take care of themseloves, so how would they take on the responisbility of raising a baby and that's eventually what would happen, yes sex is pleasurable, but there is a lot more to think about than pleasure, just because you like something doesn't mean that your ready for all of the responsibilities that come with. Having sex should be something to share with a partner that you love that feels the same and only when you are old enough to understand everything that is invovled with sex.

No i am not for it at all! The biggest reason begin is that if you look around there are more teens getting pregnant than married once. What ends up being is they drop out of school to support the child and work at some small store. What happened to this generation they are more concerned about sex than education. Kids do not have dreams anymore. Seems like all that matters is party, sex, drink etc. These things are more important than being ambitious trying to take 9 classes and still having a G.P.A of 4.0. 20 yrs ago kids where doing that and they did pretty good too. And not if a kid decides to do that there are 20 others who will tell him or her that he or she will never achieve it. Seems like they do not want to challenge themselves to see their abilities.

I think that depends.

Sex isn't just an adult thing, as seen on this site by the number of questions about it, but I think it does require a mature attitude.

It's also important to consider the consequences if pregnancy happens. You should be at a stage in your life where you would be emotionally and financially ready for it. If somehow that happens when you're a teen, then fine, but that's not how it usually works out.

So I guess my answer is, not really?

No, it's sad to see these babies walking around pregnant with babies! Its sick!
Sex is more than just the act it can get very emotional too and teens just don't have what it takes!
Most of them end up pregnant and regreting having sex! (not the baby!)
WHy would you give up you innocence for a few moments of pleasure?

NO WAY!!!! 13-17 year olds do not need to have sex. they should be enjoying their childhood. not worrying about if they are pregnant or not. just look on this board who many teens say that they are pregnant or that they may be pregnant. it is very sad. you should not have sex until it means something other than a piece of #** to you.
