I am in band and I chose percussion so whoever was or is in band, what instrument did u choose?

The school band at my school has french horn, percussion, trumbone, tuba, saxaphone, and cornet. Please tell me your instrument.!!!!

Piano for Jazz Band
Auxillary Percussion for Concert Band
Xylophone/Bells and Aux Perc for Marching Band

The bass guitar is the most valuable instrument in a Jazz band and it keeps the time even for the drummer. The other 2 instruments you mentioned usually are very quiet in a jazz band and don't stand out. Unless if you don't want the responsibility of the the most important jazz player , then I would go with the bass keyboard because its unique and different and its really cool to try something different in jazz band because i played the vibes (vibraphone) in my first year of Jazz Band.

I played snare drums but first I had to work with a bell kit.
it payed off because I having fun in a unsigned band

i to am in a REAL band and i choose the drums because you can get so much anger out plus like 99.9% of the time the drummer is way hot and well i think you now where i'm going with this. if you don't your the biggest damn idiot i know
