Yes. The internet is very new now, but it will evolve tremendously and bring the whole world together. In a thousand years, after many many generations of breeding, we will all be the same race. I have never before actually phrased it as concisely as you have here.

No.

As a bi-racial individual, I would love to dream that one day we'd all be coffee coloured, but it's not going to happen. There will always be people who believe so strongly in the preservation of their own race that they continue it, even if they are a minority.

I think it's already pretty much impossible for any average person to say they are definately 100% pure anything. There's probably a little bit of mixing somewhere back in everyone's background (unless you're of a royal blood line that can be traced back to the year dot or something). But even if it's not 100% pure, the predominant genes will be significant enough to maintain a difference.

Each race seems to have advantages the others don't merging WOULD be the best way to go.

A. Clarke in his book: 3001: A final Odessy
mentions this briefly. It's the last in a series, so I wouldn't read it just for that brief mention, but 2001: A Space Odessy are great - and the movie doesn't do jack, but the 2010 movie is okay.

I think we already have "mixed races". I don't believe that there is "one race". I really don't believe that there is an all white race, or an all black race or anything in between. I think everyone is mixed with something.

Don't tell me that white men didn't rape black women. There were allot of consenting affairs behind closed doors going on also. Black men raped white women too and the list continues. Then there are people who are Native American and the women who were taken from their land or the people who just fell in love. The list of races goes on and on.

The only one race is the Human Race.

As long as we remain on this one planet, I think it is inevitable. Communication is close to near global saturation now. The only likely way to stop the eventual interbreeding of the entire species would be a complete breakdown of the travel and communication infrastructure. Something like a large scale nuclear war or world-wide natural disaster.

I hope not. Thats not predjudice but I like keeping my white heritage just like indians, blacks ,and mexicans like to keep thiers!!! Oh, I am engaged to a puerto rican. There will always be mixed races and that is beautiful...but I doubt there will ever be just one race.

ofcourse! the amount of globalisation that is taking place these days is leading mankind to the thing u asked in ur question. though the process is very slow, but it would surely happen one day!!! might be that our great-great-great grand children be able to be a part of such a community called HUMANISM and mankind! i wonder what the earth would look then! with no racial discrimination and no differences due to our origin! in a word, world would become HEAVEN!!!!

Maybe in like two million years. I think there will always be different mentalities, though. Asians will still act like Asians and Americans will still act like Americans. And there will always be Australians too.
