Cleansing and toning are necessary to keep your skin clear, healthy and blemish free. Moisturising is just as necessary, as you can strip your skin of precious moisture, while cleansing. This has to be put back to stop skin becoming dry, sore and prematurely aged, so moisturising is the way to do it. Moisturising is just as important as cleansing and toning and as you get older it can become more important if you want to avoid looking like a wisened old woman. Once you get past forty, if you do nothing much else to your skin, please moisturise it.

Cleansing loosens the dirt and opens the pores. Toning wipes away any excess dirt and closes the pores. Moisturiser replaces the oils you have stripped out and sometimes provides skin softeners, vitamins etc.

It is good for your skin and stop premature ageing. Cleansing cleans, toning tones and opens your pores and moisturising moisturises and is absorbed better due to the cleansing and toning!

Well, cleansing, cleans the surface; toning cleans the pores and goes a bit deeper, plus opens up the pores. Moisturizer mositurizes the skin surface and sometimes, depending on what ingredient it contains, it can make a difference in the size of the pores and their condition. I hope this helped.

Yeah, Kirstybowie has it right.
Also, like most 'beauty routines', to keep us women too busy to worry about things like changing the world....!
OK i'm being cynical. But a good wash off cleanser and a moisturiser with an SPF is all you need if you don't have any actual skin problems; too many products is just confusing for your skin.

The purpose of them is to have a good skin cleansing routine, which will keep your skin really clean and tidy, free of spots. Sometimes you need moisturiser to make sure your skin is not dry, but a very good skin may not need it. But it's very important to make sure that your skin products contain as little ingredients as possible. the more c.rap is in it the more chance there is your skin develops some allergy to one of the ingredients. Keep it nice and simple and your skin will keep itself nice and simple.

Well if you strip all of the oils out of your skin by "cleaning and then "toning", you have to put some moisture back into your skin to keep it from over producing sebum which is your skins natural oil. Healthy skin does not require moisturizer. You have to be sure that you are not using harsh cleansers and toners. Your dermatologist can recommend what's best for you.

Many people strive to attain lighter, brighter, healthier-looking skin. Learning to properly care for your skin on a day-to-day basis will help your skin stay light and tight, while more substantial and scientifically-proven lightening products are also widely available. In my opinion this is the best method https://tr.im/71GGy
