It is a error either done by a worn die or a struck through grease or dirt it only raises the price of the dime a few cents in low grade maybe up to $0.50 in high grade.
They are very common and sometime will lower the value of a coin.

It depends if the "6" has been worn off or the "6" is simply missing. If the dime is worn and the 6 is just part of the wear, then the dime is worth 10 cents. If it was a minting error, then you have yourself a coin that is worth quite a bit more than 10 cents.

Hate to say it, but these dates can be beaten flat. Probably, your dime just got bumped hard by something, and isn't worth a rat's...
Well, it would be worth about ten cents anyway. Some collctors, or dumb kids might pay a little more for the novelty.
In the unlikely case that no date was ever printed on it, AND it is in mint condition, with no other nicks or scratches, it may be rather more valuable, but I wouldn't expect it to be more than say $100 at the most.

Not sure what it would be worth but I do know that in part it depends on what kind of condition it is in. I think the way they grade coins is, very fine, fine, etc. Im sure you can find a web site that will help you. Good luck, I hope you have a winner .

I'm sure it would be worth a small bundle of money. If I am wrong, then sorry. But why not call the bank and ask them? They would certainly know.
