So, why would you think that he does not mean what he say? Does that mean that you dont respect and agree with what he says if thats the case then this relationship/friendship has more problems than just this. You either need to work on it if you really like him and want to grow old together.

If you want marriage and kids, and he says he doesn't, then believe him. Don't try to convince him or change him in any way. Leaving pictures of engagement rings around the house or looking at baby clothes in stores is going to do one of two things: provoke an argument or cause him to give in. If it causes an argument, the relationship will probably end. If he gives in and compromises his own feelings to make you feel better, the relationship will probably end anyway because he'll never be totally happy. He may even grow to resent you. And this would be worse because by that time you might have children, and those kids will get hurt when he leaves.

I think the more oepn you are in your realtionship the better things will be... So if you want to marry this person and have kids with that person then you need to tell them so then can let you know what they want in there life at this time... Now if your not ready to get married or have kids then you need to speak to the other person and let them know that maybe one day in the furture you would like this but right now your not ready to be a father and be married... Like I saw just be open with that person and they'll soon understand...

If a man tells you that he will never marry you then you better leave his a** alone right then and there, b/c he's really telling you there's no chance of him even trying to fall in love with you.
