It is very difficult to find a job that will pay you 80k a year just out of college, but I do know of some.

These jobs require that you work long hours any day of the week, and probably be away from home for 3 or 4 weeks at a time. You also have to work in a dangerous environment.

These jobs are in the oil field. If you have a technical degree, that is Eng, or Geology, and others along that line, you can get a job where your annual salary will be around 30K, and you will get paid upwards of US$100 per day for every day you work.

Simply put, if you work for US$150 per day and work 20 days a month then you make US$3000 a month, or US$36K a year, plus your annual salary, makes it US$66K a year.

That typically the kind of hours that people work these days since there is so much work in the field. Some people actually work more than that, and there are additional bonuses like free car and gas, and all that could total up to 80K.

And after a couple months on the job your day rate should go up as long as you prove you are competent, and you can easily make upwards of US$200 a day. I know some guys who make US$600 a day.

These companies are: Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Haliburton and others along those lines.

you can make 80k a year in sales, but don't expect to do it your first year and you better be willing to work your butt off. Sales is the highest paid hard work, but the lowest paid easy work. If you do go into sales pick up the book " How to Master the Art of Selling " by Tom Hopkins. Good Luck. ALso strippers can make over 100k a year if your hot and good.

Just out of college? No grad school? Probably only a nurse or law enforcement officer (Oakland, CA PD starts just shy of $70K).
