I wonder where you got that info from?, as I recall the facts England got their little butts kicked out from the places they tried to steal from the rest of the world!

Small minded Nationalist. What you say is factually incorrect but it will hard to let someone like you see that. What about the Contributions of the Welsh, Scottish and Cornish Peoples. Not to mention the substantial input of the Northern Irish. The English have always piggy backed of these people, but claim the credit as the more populous race. Even today, the ENGLISH parliament is run by predominantly Scottish ministers, to name but two, The Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the Exchequer. It won't do to come on here claiming credit for what has essentially been a BRITISH Success and not an ENGLISH success as you seek to do.

Italy under the Romans ruled more than England ever did.

Do you know what...i am so proud to be English, but we are no better than any other country, every country has its good and bad bits.
I love being English but i also love being from Great Britain, as the Americans love being American and the French love being French etc.
