How can I make it in the music industry if I already have connections?

You have to be a very good musician. Then you have to really connect with the audience. The music business is one of the toughest rackets there is.

An absence of talent, huge self obsession and a willingness to prostitute yourself to fame seems to work for most in that shallow business.
