Read this, I am a sun expert, been under for 23 years now... Drink just made carrot juice in the morning... Use beer or baby oil to tan if your skin is not very white... only for 20 or 30 minutes, then use a lotion with spf5... go in the water every 45 minutes, do not stay under the sun if your skin hurts, even if you don't feel tanned yet... make a break after an hour or so and go back after cooling down. Avoid 12pm to 2pm sun... use Lancome after sun lotion (aprés soleil)... drink lots of water before, during and after your tan... i would say avoid tanning beds, I got burned there once...

i love my vitamin d too but I have to say, i am incrediably tan naturally but even then i have skin cancer in my family. I have been told to put lots of spf's on but still the sun damages your skin. The sun can bring on premature aging, sunspots and causes many health issues. Even though it's great to get that sunkissed glow, I would say (because you skin is so fair) that you should get Jergens tanning lotions. It has a special tint in it that gives your skin that glow while moisturizing and firming. Don't tan in the sun! Just use fake tans! i'd much rather be a fake n' bake then be a wrinkley piece of skin. Also, i know a person who was african american and got melinoma, then died late. I wouldn't risk it.

Well, tanning may be fun but its extremely harmful to your skin. See the Sun has high levels of UV rays and you are exposing yourself to them. It causes Skin Cancer. You may already know this though so...just trying to point that out. Also, tanning boothes are worst than tanning in the sun because its exposing you to higher levels of UV than you would get in the Sun (around 20 minutes in a booth is equal to 4 hours in the sun). Tan in moderation. I suggest a pray on tan would be better.

Always use a spf of atleast 4 that way you never burn but you still tan. I love Hawiian Tropic Products because they have anything a sunlover needs. Dont forget to use a higher spf on your face and ears. Flip every 20 minutes for an even tan.

Fake tanning lotions. Don't damage your skin in the sun just to have a nice tan. You will be wrinkly and gross before you know it.

the best advice is to wear a minimum 20 spf sunscreen and limit your sun exposure to a minimum. There is no safe way to tan.

Do not lay in the sun. Instead, use a self tanner from Clarins. Clarins' products look very natural.

Stay out for a long time, and use lotion that helps you tan.
